SCAD: The Dress

This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2012 SCAD graduate fashion show. More to come on that soon but for now let us focus on one of the most important parts of attending any fashion related event:
The dress.
Perusing websites for countless hours, window shopping for countless days, I finally found the perfect dress at The Clothing Warehouse, maybe the only chain of vintage stores I've ever heard of. For the sweet price of $35 I was able to get this beautiful full length dress and matching belt. The sun was out all day for the first time since I've been in Savannah and the temperature was just right. Meals at French bistros with my mom and walks around the park made for a perfect Saturday and a rather epic weekend.

Coming soon street style photos of art students from the show and my review of a conversation with Andre Leon Talley, Ralph Rucci, and Pulitzer Prize winner Robin Givhan.
